Avoid Caregiver Burnout. Hire a Private Chef.

As I reflect on my personal experience with caregiving, from managing doctor visits and finances to coordinating care (and that’s not even everything on the list!). If I had to do it all over again, I would’ve hired a private chef.

When your loved one receives a new medical diagnosis that requires dietary changes, the kitchen also needs to adapt. This can include stocking the right ingredients to maintain the new lifestyle, cleaning and reorganizing the pantry, throwing out foods that no longer align with dietary needs, grocery shopping, and purchasing new kitchen tools and food storage containers. That’s a lot to do ON TOP of all the many things a caregiver already has to do.

This is where my expertise comes in. As someone who has created a successful system and now does this for others, I can help you and your loved one transition through the process with the services I offer:

hire a private chef for your loved ones

Custom Meal Prep: Let me take this stress of cooking off your plate (pun intended!).You and your loved one may need a better routine, regularity, and nutrition-focused meals. I can turn doctor’s orders or nutritionist’s recommendations into meals that you both can heat and eat.

Private Events - what if you wanted your loved one to have a party in the house because of dietary or mobility restrictions? No problem there, I can take care of the menu planning, shopping, food preparation, and clean up while you work on the guest list. I also provide mixology and wine pairing services (with mocktails/non-alcoholic options included) so everyone can enjoy.

hire a private chef to organize your pantry for healthier eating

Pantry Stock: Imagine having to throw out everything and start from scratch. I can do the research to understand what ingredients are better for you, purchase them, and organize your pantry.

Menu Creation: What if you still want to cook but are too overwhelmed to think about a menu? I can create menus that will include the best foods for healing that you or your loved one can use for weekly meal prep or a holiday dinner.

Hire a personal chef to help create meals for your caregiver and teach you how to cook

Cooking Classes: Want to cook but don’t know where to start? Together, we can grocery shop and cook a few meals during a cooking session so you can also feel comfortable in the kitchen

It’s important to know that you don’t have to do this alone. Learn from my lessons and outsource the support to help you through this transition.
